Interact Egypt

Interact is proudly recording the success of our first and long awaited meetup for Egypt Startups, entrepreneurs, online experts, gurus as well as entrepreneurship supporters like mentors & consultants to meet in a casual setting to discuss the current entrepreneurial challenges in Egypt that slows down entreprenuer innovations. The fifty five people who attended also enjoyed business networking, open discussions and lots of interesting and tough debates between each other. This meetup was intended mainly for technology entrepreneurs (anybody who has interesting ideas, vision or product for web and mobile).

Our main goal for this gathering was to unleash those challenges as well as hear from people who already solved them. Therefore, the event started with successful entrepreneurial cases through inspirational mini-speeches by 3 entrepreneurs who managed their way through those challenges. Then, we had a group game for identifying challenges and finally business networking Q&A session with open discussion and lots of other interesting activities!

The meetup discussed 5 main challenges which were the funding, business planning, marketing activities, sales management, lack of resources and others. The conclusion was that funding and business planning contributed to the majority of challenges.

The meetup was also live streamed and live tweeted by interact and attendees and it was very interesting to see people engaged with us online from outside the room tweeting questions to the speakers who had slots to answer those questions and interact tweeted back the answers!
By the end of the meetup, we announced 3 winners for the mini-contest we had for the meetup tweetmaster, where 3 young entrepreneurs won an exclusive training session for entrepreneurial skills. You can Also see the events pictures and watch interviews with the speakers.
